When will I get my deposit back?

A deposit is refunded when the member has paid bills for service after 12 consecutive residential billings or 24 consecutive commercial billings without having more than two delinquent bills during those times.  If this criteria is not met by the member the deposit is retained by the cooperative until it is met.  Any deposit remaining on an account when the member is disconnected will be applied to the final bill.  Any credit will automatically be mailed to you.

What is the PCRF?         PCRF Page

The PCRF (Power Cost Recovery Factor) is the amount of your bill attributable to fuel required to make electricity.  The PCRF is not included in your base rate.  This is calculated each month based on the power bill we received from our supplier.  This factor is shown on your bill each month.  To calculate the dollar amount of the fuel cost, multiply the KWH used by this factor.  In case of a security light, multiply by the appropriate security light kWh (See Rate Page).

Can I have my meter tested?

Yes, the meter will be tested at your request.  However, this can only be requested one time within a four year period.  If you request a test more often, you will be charged $15.00 per test (plus a service charge of $50.00) if the meter is found to be within the accuracy standards of plus or minus two percent (2%).

How does cycle billing date affect me?

Beginning January 1, 2003, our customers were divided into four billing cycles - the 3rd, 10th, 17th, and 24th.  See the cycle billing page for your billing date.   You should expect to receive your bill in the mail about 3-4 days after your bill date.  There is no change in the amount of time you will have to pay your bill - payment will still be due 16 days after your bill date.

Can I choose a new bill date?

Billing dates are assigned based on your zip code.  This helps us keep postage and collection costs lower, however, if you need to change your date, please contact the office.
